The 2018 Providence Road Shiraz by Lange Estate is a intense lusious flavour, show the pure fruit character of cherry, plums and raspberries. That also has the intense cool climate spice, with the influence of the French oak. This is drinking really well at the moment.

Lange Estate Providence Road Cabernet Sauvignon

 The 2018 Lange Estate Providence Road Cabernet Sauvignon is a stunning wine from the autumn vintage. 


Dark ruby red.


Lifted bouquet of blueberry and dark chocolate.


Flavours of chocolate and liquorice with hints of plum and sweet spice. Finetannnins fill the palate to give a long savoury finish.


The 201Cabernet Sauvignon was machine harvested then destemmed/crushedinto fermenters where it was cold soaked to extract and retain desirable varietalflavours and aromas. When actively fermenting post inoculation they werepumped over with aeration twice a day, temperature washeld around 25°C toprevent over extraction of tannins. The wine was then transferred in barrel formalolactic fermentation allowing a soft integration of the grape and Oak tannins.

FOOD PAIRING Slow cooked lamb with seasonal greens.


Vintage 2018 will be remembered as one of the best for Frankland River. Springprovided ideal weather patterns, allowing for the development of a healthy andabundant leaf canopy. Summer followed, and mother nature didn’t disappoint.The vineyard was leftto nurture the fruit with a mild, dry ripening season,ensuring perfect veraison across all varieties. The rain stayed away, ensuringthat all grapes came into the winery when they had exceptional flavour, acid andsugar balance.
